An instant frozen in time

This proyect aspires to capture an instant moment of the world´s life, in any corner on earth and from any perspective but on one condition: capture the unique moment at 9 o´clock GMT time (Spanish time 11 AM.) on the 9th of September 2009. Anyone interested in photography can participate, using any type of camera including a mobile phone.

 

An instant in which the world stands still. The feeling of the 9/9 consists of the awareness that at this very moment thousands of people are going to capture with their cameras a very unique moment. All of these moments are going to be united because they would happen at the exact same time all over the world. A hundred or a thousands clicks are going to be heard at the same time in unison. A huge photo-wall will be built with these pictures and a video is going to be edited.

 

The more of you who participate the completer is going to be the vision of this instant. The interesting thing about this project is that it´s going to be spread around the world. You can invite all of your friends to participate in this.

 

How to participate:

  1. Fill out the form you find in this page
  2. Take the photo at 09:00 GMT “more or less”.
  3. Spanish time 11 AM. For other countries check: www.horamundial.com
  4. The image must be HORIZONTAL, 10x15 cm. format at 300 dpi with medium JPEG compression.
  5. Everything goes; Show us everything around you at that precise moment.
  6. Email it to us: 9del9@quieroserfotografo.com
  7. Don´t forget to put in the reference:
    Your name, city and country where the photo was taken.
  8. All photos must be sent before September 30, 2009.
    Data has been sent correctly.
